Current Features

It’s not too late to get a flu shot! Flu season lasts until April.

We’re out of Flumist but have plenty of the shot- the new quadrivalent that protects against 4 flu strains instead of 3.

Flu vaccines are recommended for EVERYONE starting at 6 months of age. The more people that are immunized, the less flu illness that will go around.

There are many misconceptions about the flu vaccine; see http://www.cdc.gov/flu/about/qa/misconceptions.htm for accurate information.

  • Flu shots can be given to those 6 months and older.*
  • Parents may receive the vaccine in our office for $30

*Patients under 9 years of age who have not received a previous flu shot will need a second dose 1 month after the first.

Please call to schedule your flu vaccine. After school appointments are available.
